After removing the remaining chrome the car was completely primered. The stripe area (including inside the door jam) was painted Wimbledon White.
The blue pin striping was put on for our approval of the shape. If you notice the top rear of the stripe was wrong. He had followed the rear window line instead of keeping the stripe’s width equal. The fender's stripe was also wrong. The transition over the wheel lips were too abrupt as you can see being corrected in the last picture. Notice how he installed the wheel lip chrome in order to help align the stripe.
